PROCESS FOR ALKOXYLATION OF ESTERS AND PRODUCTS PRODUCED THEREFROM

A process for producing alkoxylated mono-, di-, and tri-esters in which a staring materials comprising an ester and an alkylene oxide are reacted in the presence of selected calcium based catalysts. Figure 1 deplects a comparison of alkoxylated methyl esters using the process of the process of the present invention with the prior art processes.
