<p>PURPOSE:To provide the manufacturing method for a laminated type varistor with which the desorption of oxygen, when a sintered body is coated with a glass film, is prevented and a leakage current can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:After a semiconductor ceramic layer 2 and an internal electrode 3 have been laminated alternately, they are integrally sintered, and a sintered body 4 is formed. Then, the sintered body 4 and glass powder are housed in a container, and they are heat-treated at the temperature higher than the softening point of glass while the container is being rotated. As a result, a glass film 6 is formed on the surface part of the sintered body 4, and a laminated type varistor 1 is manufactured. In this case, the partial pressure of oxygen in the container is maintained at 20% or higher.</p> |
