PURPOSE:To constitute the device so that even in the case plural keys are depressed, a frequency of a sound to be outputted as a musical tone is determined by only a first one of plural detected key depressing signals, and always only a single sound is outputted. CONSTITUTION:A depressed state detecting means 302 outputs depressed state information constituted of a non-key depressing signal and a key depressing signal of a wider pulse than its signal, corresponding to all key switches 301, and it is superposed in an 'H' period of an output pulse of a frequency divider 7. When an output of a first integration circuit 26 exceeds a first scheduled level by a key depressing signal of wide width contained in the depressed state information, an F/F 27 is set, and the key number being a counting value of a counter 25 is latched by a latch 29. Based on this key number, a frequency division ratio is determined, and a frequency signal corresponding to the frequency division ratio is generated. The F/F 27 is reset by an action of a second integration circuit 36 in an 'L' period of the output pulse of the frequency divider 7. |
