<p>A process for the preparation of a live rabies vaccine for the oral vaccination of Canidae is described. Special variants of the SAD rabies virus strain, called variant strain VA1, VA12, VA17 and VA20, are propagated in the BSR-19 cell line and processed in a known manner to give a vaccine which is effective on oral administration to foxes and dogs.</p> |
