Caster in which the insert, especially an antifriction bearing (1) has on its outer surface an injection moulded caster body (2) with an outer hollow cylindrical running face (3), a concentric hub (4) and a radially extending disc (5) which joins the hub to the running face. At least one injection parting surface (8) is provided in the side region of the caster body such that from the parting surface a plastic material filler channel (9) connected to the caster body also extends to the disc. ADVANTAGE - Method of producing a caster where in the finished article material weak spots caused by the manufacturing process are avoided.
