IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide the color image forming method by which bright projected images having high saturation are obtd. CONSTITUTION:The product of the height h of the color toner image structure and space frequency 1/lambda is specified to <=0.036 in the image forming method consisting in forming the color toner images 41 on a transparent film 42 for an overhead projector. The height of the color toner image structure is set by changing the toner weight per unit area on the transparent film 42 and the space frequency of the image structure may be set by changing resolution. The transparent film 42 for the overhead projector may be constituted of a 1st transparent resin layer formed of a transparent film 42 having heat resistance and a 2nd transparent resin layer which has compatibility with toners and has the thickness of 1/2 to 2 times the height of the color toner image structure.
