<p>PURPOSE:To improve the numerical aperture of a TFT-LCD by forming a wiring pattern for applying a common potential electrode by using no a metallic wiring pattern, but ITO. CONSTITUTION:An AC signal Vcom is applied to other liquid crystal terminal electrodes and storage capacitance terminal electrodes of odd arrays (even array) and the inverted signal of the Vcom is applied to other liquid crystal terminal electrodes and storage capacitance terminal electrodes of even arrays (odd array). Then other liquid crystal terminal electrodes and storage capacitance terminal electrodes are formed of ITO and drawn out in stripes in an array direction, and the adjacent striped patterns are electrically isolated from each other and applied with the AC signal and its inverted signal. When the electrodes are driven, only one storage capacitance is seen from the storage capacitance electrodes, so the electrode patterns can be formed with high- resistance ITO.</p> |
