<p>PURPOSE:To enable secure data recording without necessitating making data transfer at a host device side wait and an omission in recording. CONSTITUTION:A data recording device which records data transferred from an external device 21 and once stored in a buffet memory 3, in recorded medium T at faster operating speed than data transferring speed is provided with a dummy recording means which continues recording specified dummy data different from the original data since the data stored in the buffer memory 3 is used up until a specified amount of data is stored again.</p> |
