PURPOSE:To obtain a humidifier which can prevent steam leakage out of a lower end part of a steam guide cylinder and in which a reed switch to detect a water level of supplementary water and another reed switch to detect a fall- down of the humidifier have a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:A rib 23 is provided on an outer periphery of a lower end part of a steam guide cylinder 2 in a pressed contact with an inner peripheral surface of a packing 4 which seals between an evaporating tray 3 and a body frame 1. A reed switch of a float switch to detect water level of a tank water receiving part 19 and another reed switch of a fall-down switch 21 to detect fall-down are incorporated onto a supporter 10 for integration. Thus, as steam leakage is eliminated, damage due to remainder of steam can be prevented. Further, as the float switch and the fall-down switch are integrated, the number of components and that of assembling processes can be decreased. |
