A method for protecting walls of apparatuses and transportation ducts against erosion, consisting in adjustment of gas pressure through space closed from the outside by an impermeable mantle with a connector pipe, characterised in that the cut-off segment of the apparatus wall or of the transportation duct is replaced by a porous, liquid-permeable insert (1), whereas a controlled amount of gas is taken off from the externally closed space between the liquid-permeable insert (1) and the impermeable mantle.<IMAGE>
