PURPOSE:To eliminate the polishing of a surface to which a core cylinder is adhered, to reduce the number of processes, to increase the dimensional accuracy of the core, and to achieve a compact core by adhering a cylinder to one peripheral surface of the inner or the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical ferrite core, and then by forming coil grooves over the other surface of the core. CONSTITUTION:After the formation and firing of a cylindrical ferrite core, a cylinder 3 is adhered to one peripheral surface of the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical ferrite core. Then, over the other surface of the core, grooves 4 for coil winding purposes are formed. The grooves are subjected to a polishing process to render the dimension of each groove identical to a predetermined one. For example, ferrite powders the formed cylinderically and fired, so that a cylinderical core inwardly stepped at both end is produced. A cylinder 3 is adhesively inserted into the cylindrical core, and both end faces of the core are polished. Coil grooves 4 and slits 5 are then formed over an outer peripheral surface by grinding, and the outer peripheral surface 6 is then polished, thereby producing an inside core for use in a coaxial rotary transformer.
|
