PURPOSE:To provide a RAM module for LSI having low power dissipation. CONSTITUTION:The RAM generator designs a timing generating circuit for controlling a sense-amp optimally according to the number of words of a memory. The RAM module comprises memory cells 121 arranged according to a given number of words, a sense-amp. 101 amplifying the output from the memory cell 121, and a timing generating circuit 111 controlling the operating state of the sense-amp. 101 at a timing corresponding with the number of words. |
