<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the tape consuming quantity and to increase the number of photographing by making late the recording tape travelling speed at the time of photographing a still picture. CONSTITUTION:Even when an SP mode (fast) is set by a tape speed switching input part 22 and a mode to record a still picture only is set by an input part 21, a system control circuit part 24 makes the speed of a tape 19 into an LP mode (late) and records the still it is judged that picture. That is, when it is judged that the still picture photographing only is performed, it is judged whether or not the recording tape travelling speed is the LP mode, and at the time of the LP mode, ON of a releasing device 23 is awaited, and the still picture recording is started by a release ON. On the other hand, at the time of the SP mode, the recording tape travelling speed is switched to the LP mode, ON of the releasing device 23 is awaited, and the still picture recording is started by the release ON. Then, even when the tape setting speed by a photographer is the SP mode, the still picture is recorded by the LP mode in a video camera.</p> |
