EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To treat exhaust gas with high denitration efficiency by together using a sodium azide reaction container and a plasma reaction container in series while enhancing the denitration efficiency of both reaction containers. CONSTITUTION:A sodium azide reaction container 2 packed with an adsorbent 21 having sodium azide supported thereon and a plasma reaction container 3 wherein a needle electrode 33 capable of applying plasma (a) to the whole of flowing exhaust gas and a perforated electrode 31 are provided in opposed relationship are connected to an exhaust gas pipe 1 in series so that either one of both reaction containers 2, 3 is provided as a front stage.
