The hearing aid has an outer housing (10) enclosing the electronic amplifier module, the microphone and the loudspeaker (12) which faces an exit opening (13), directed towards the eardrum when the hearing aid is fitted in the ear. The opposing end walls of the housing each have at least one ventilation opening (15,16) to allow ventilation of the inner ear. Pref. the ventilation openings at the inner end of the hearing aid housing lie concentric to the exit opening for the loudspeaker. ADVANTAGE - Simple ventilation of inner ear.
