PURPOSE:To remove the surface of a light-sensitive film, which has deteriorated in sensitivity and friction resistance due to high speed and high repetition property in order to always use a new surface of the lightsensitive film, and obtain a favorable picture quality stably for a long period of time by making the light-sensitive layer of an image holding means be a layer structure made of a plurality of films. CONSTITUTION:An image forming drum 1 is formed a hollow drum 1a and an LB layer made of a plurality of light-sensitive layers 2a, 2c and peel plies 3b. Accompanying with the rotation of the image forming drum 1 in a direction A, a chemical latent image is formed on the surface of the light-sensitive layer 2a by a optical writing system 6, to complete writing. Then, the image is developed by making an ink 5 adhere. Also, the ink image is brought into contact with a recording medium 8, and transferred and fixed by a transfer/fixing roller 7. In addition, the ink which has not been transferred on the image forming drum 1 or paper power, etc., is cleaned by a cleaning unit 9, and at the same time, the above mentioned light sensitive layers 2a and peel plies 3b are removed by one layer at a time, to make a new light-sensitive layer 2c be exposed. |
