摘要 PURPOSE:To give compensation to the detection error of radiation in a high dose rate region and then increase the display range of the dose rate, by varying the counting period of the units of pulses generated in correspondence to the detection of radiation and in accordance with the frequency of detection of radiation. CONSTITUTION:The pulse generated from the detector 1 during the detection of radiation is multiplied by a fixed value through the dose rate converting circuit 2 and then counted for a fixed time by the counter circuit 3 consisting of the latch reset circuit 7. Thus the radiation dose rate is displayed on the display unit 4. At the same time, the multi 8 is triggered by the detector 1, and the gate circuit 9 is closed for the period of the time duration W. And the pulses of a fixed number are deleted among the pulse train supplied from the pulse generating circuit 5 and to be applied to the dividing circuit 6. As a result, the output cycle of the circuit 6 varies, and the time interval between the latch pulse and the reset/start pulse of the circuit 3 produced by the circuit 7 is extended in accordance with the detection frequency of radiation. If the duration W is selected equal to the radiation decomposition and discrimination time of the detector 1, the compensation is given to the indication error based on the nondetection of radiation in a highdose rate region. Thus the display range is increased for the dose rate.
