Screw connection with screw and secured nut - has safety plate with locking nose and disc pushed over screw thread

The locking element (9) has on one hand an area which is locked in keyed engagement with the circumferential shape of the nut (5) so that it cannot rotate. On the other hand the locking element has at least one nose (11) which engages in the splint hole (8). The locking element is pref. formed by a safety plate (9) set above or underneath the nut and having an area which is bent over the outline of the nut. The locking element can be a moulded part with a detent element. ADVANTAGE - The screw thread is not slit and can be tightened with a preset biasing force.
