<p>A machine for cooling animal fodder and similar materials of the type that comprises a pelletizing machine which takes the products from feeder hoppers (1,2) and passes the pelletized material to a receptacle (8) which cools the pellets, characterized in that it takes the form of a unit (9) supplying refrigerated air at a controlled humidity level to the receptacle (8) containing the pellets discharged from the pelletizer, the cooled and controlled air being supplied at a low pressure and low velocity and being extracted following its passage in contra-flow against the pelletized material directly to the exterior by an extraction system (15) and without a requirement for a recovery operation of fines. <IMAGE></p> |
