发明名称 TRANSMISSION LINE FOR LASER WORK
摘要 PURPOSE:To evade the breakage of an incident or exiting end under heat by a laser beam by improving cooling efficiency and to enhance the mechanical strength of the end of a waveguide. CONSTITUTION:The hollow waveguide 11 through which the laser beam is transmitted is substantially made of thick nickel layer, and a dielectric body and a metallic thin film are formed on the inner wall thereof. A copper sleeve 12 having large heat conductivity is attached and integrated with the outer periphery of the end of the incident side or the exiting side of the waveguide 11. The outside diameter of the waveguide 11 before and behind a sleeve 12 is made thicker than other parts so that the sleeve 12 may not be detached from the waveguide 11. It is thickened by the electroplating of nickel. The end face 14 of the sleeve 12 is coated with the nickel and further the coated end face is ground to be a specular surface, then a gold thin film 13 is formed there.
