<p>PURPOSE:To permit the always optimum detection for drive anomaly indepedently of the length of the drive distance of a tray by installing a detecting means which detects the position of the tray on which paper sheets are placed and carries out the detection operation for the anomaly of a driving means for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:If a timer 92 times up before a height detector 71 is turned ON, and a time-out signal is outputted into an anomaly detecting circuit 93, the anomaly detecting circuit 93 is set by a tray rising signal supplied from a signal generating circuit 95. The reset output is outputted as anomaly detection signal into a tray anomaly display device 94 and a signal generating circuit 95. Accordingly, the tray anomaly display device 94 is put ON, and the drive anomaly of the tray is displayed, and also the rise of the tray is suspended. Further, if a tray upper limit detector 73 is turned ON before the height detector 71 is turned ON, the rise of the tray is suspended, and the paper exhaustion state is detected and informed to a body side.</p> |
