PURPOSE:To display information with the proper quantity of light for a driver without any variance in brightness among display colors even when the light emission characteristics of a light emitting element for information display are different by detecting the brightness in a driver's room by a photosensor and adjusting the brightness of the light emitting element, color by color. CONSTITUTION:A dashboard system which displays various drive information by using the multicolor light emitting element detects the brightness in the driver's room by the photosensor and calculates the light emission brightness of the light emitting element for displaying the information from the detected value, and this system is provided with converting circuits 4A and 4B which adjust the brightness of the light emitting element, color by color, according to the output of the arithmetic circuit.
