The invention relates to a device which uses the properties of the magic slate consisting of a moving part sliding in a fixed frame so as to erase instantaneously what has been printed there by the pressure of a stylus. It consists of a case (1, 2) formed by a visible, flexible and transparent face (1), and of a fixing face (2) which protects a compact stacking (4, 5) consisting of a translucent thin sheet (4) and of a support coated with a greasy product (5) arranged on either side of a thin partition, rod or filament (3) integral with the case (1, 2), unsticking them from one another when the user makes the compact stacking (4, 5) slide in the case (1, 2) in a direction perpendicular to that of the fine partition (3).
