A spacer intended to carry an elongate support element (20), denoted screed, a distance above a supporting surface on which a concrete floor is to be casted, which support element has side walls (4, 5) defining between them a space (6) to be filled with concrete via through holes (7, 8) in the side walls. Horizontal foot portions (9, 10) protrude from the side walls and are provided with evenly distributed holes (11, 12). To enable quick and simple attachment to such a support element to form a stable construction unit, it is proposed according to the invention that each spacer is made in one piece from a sheet-metal blank with two side sections (33, 34) having teeth (46) at the top, said teeth having constant pitch t &cir& _ and being so arranged in relation to each other and to the foot portions and their holes (11, 12) in the support element (20), that at least one tooth (46) is received in each of four holes (11, 12) when the support element and spacer are moved together at right angles, said four holes being located at the corners of a rectangle. |
