PURPOSE:To obtain a downsized vehicle driver at a low cost, to save power, and to balance input voltage of capacitor by eliminating the shunting chopper or resistor conventionally required in an inverter for decreasing the output current in readhesion control at the time of idling or slip of wheel. CONSTITUTION:An idling/slip detecting circuit 100 detects idling of wheel and a current pattern generating circuit 110 generates current decreasing patterns for all inverters 41, 42. Current command generating circuits 121, 122 recive the current patterns to generate corresponding current commands for controlling the inverters 41, 42 through inverter control circuits 131, 132. Input powers to the inverters 41, 42 are thereby equalized thus balancing the voltages of capacitors 51, 52. |
