PURPOSE:To provide at a low cost a compact device capable of synthetically and accurately detecting various kinds of abnormalities in the supply of sterilizing liquefied gas, such as the absence of liquefied gas in a sterilizing gas bomb, disconnection of the bomb and the closing of the main valve of the bomb. CONSTITUTION:A liquefied gas supply abnormality detection device A is for use in a gas sterilizer wherein liquefied ethylene oxide gas introduced from a bomb 1 is allowed to pass through an evaporator 7 heated by a heater 8 and evaporated and then fed into a sterilization chamber 10. A temperature sensor 4 for detecting changes in the temperature of the evaporator 7 and an abnormality-detecting and control portion 5 are provided; the detecting and control potion 5 outputs a liquefied gas supply abnormality signal if, after a predetermined time T elapses from the start of the control of passing the liquefied gas through the evaporator 7, neither of the following requirements is met:temperature detected by the temperature sensor 4 is not more than a predetermined abnormality judgement temperature; pressure within the chamber 10 detected by a pressure sensor 9 is more than a predetermined value P. |
