PURPOSE:To efficiently detect an unexpected error by dividing a sentence into word trains which are connected with each other and detecting the error of the sentence by means of the combination of a adjacent clauses based on the division result. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of an input means 1, a sentence storage means 2, a sentence analysis means 3, an analysis result storage means 4, a clause connection discrimination means 5, a Japanese dictionary 6, a connection relationship storage means 7 and a display means 8. The sentence analysis means 3 divides the inputted sentence into word units by means of the word dictionary and the connection information between words and outputs the word units for each clause, and the clause connection discrimination means 5 inspects the combination of adjacent clauses by means of the analysis result outputted for each clause. That is, when the combination is composed of a specific combination such as a clause consisting of only the stem of an one step verb and the clause headed by the one step verb, for example, the information indicating that the applicable information is erroneous is outputted. |
