PURPOSE:To automatically and selectively apply a flux to a long-sized plate-like work. CONSTITUTION:When a lead frame 70 passes through a groove 50 formed in a minute gap in a flux applying part 20 in the horizontal direction, a flux being stagnant in this groove 30 is applied to the lead frame 70. In the groove 30, the flux of an irreducible minimum is always stagnant by a capillary phenomenon, therefore, a useless circulation of the flux is not executed. Also, in a dam 31 formed in the groove 30 of the flux applying part 20, surface tension of the flux works, therefore, the flux does not flow out to an unnecessary area of the lead frame 70. |
