INJECTION MOLDING METHOD OF CERAMIC POWDER OR METALLIC POWDER

PURPOSE:To allow injection molding at a low temp. and under a low pressure by using an agar sol consisting of agar powder having specific gel strength and sodium borate as a binder. CONSTITUTION:Magnetically treated water or water which is not subjected to the magnetic treatment, the ager sol consisting of ager powder having at least 2000g/cm<2> gel strength at the conc. of 2% and the sodium borate are added to metallic powder or ceramic powder and the mixture is kneaded to form a clayey plastic material in a sol state. This clayey plastic material is charged into a heat insulatable hopper of an injection molding machine and is molded. This clayey plastic material is cooled and is made into gelatinized pellets (fine grained gel). These pellets are charged into the hopper of the injection molding machine and are molded under heating and dissolving. The sodium borate is added to the ager soln. of the sol state, by which the elastically and viscosity of the ager soln. are additionally increased.
