PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device where toner scattering, the damage of a photosensitive body and surface staining, which occur because toner and carrier constituting a magnetic brush on the developing roller of a developing device adhere to the photosensitive body, are prevented and further spark and the burning of parts, which occur because the carrier gets into a corona discharge device, are prevented even when the developing device is actuated in a state where image forming actions are not executed. CONSTITUTION:In the copying action control mode of a copying machine, a main motor 60 for rotating a photosensitive drum, an eraser 3, a cleaning bias power source 611, a cleaning motor 63, a developing bias power source 65, a destaticizing lamp 9, and a pretransfer destaticizing device 6 are turned on, and further a precleaning destaticizing charger 7 and an electrostatic charger 2 are turned on, then a developing motor 61 is turned on after the actions of the respective devices get in a stable state. |
