PURPOSE:To provide a golf club wherewith the gyroscopic effect at the time when the golf club is swung is heightened and the carry of a golf ball can be increased. CONSTITUTION:A part 21 on a shaft 2, at which a grip 4 is held, is heightened at a flexural rigidity of 1200X10<4>kgmm<2> or larger, and a deflection at the tip of the shaft 2 is restricted, and thus the gyroscopic effect of a golf club 1 is heightened. Therefore, a head 3 is twisted about an axial line X of the shaft 1 at a large angular velocity, and thus batting power against a golf ball 5 is heightened. |
