PURPOSE:To accurately perform the correction of brightness at every chip and the adjustment of the brightness of the whole of chips at the same time by simple circuit constitution by individually controlling the rising and falling periods of the pulse signal controlling the driving of respective LED chips by utilizing the corresponding brightness correction/adjustment data. CONSTITUTION:A clock CLK sets the driving cycle of LED chips and a driving enable signal E sets a data signal S1 in an increasable and decreasable manner. A programmable counter 11 counts a correction data signal S1 formed based on the brightness irregularities at every LED chips 1A, 1B... and outputs a count-up signal to a flip-flop 13 to raise the driving enable signal E. A programable counter 12 counts the brightness adjusting data signal C inputted in common to all of the chips 1A, 1B... and outputs a count-up signal to the flip-flop 13 to allow the driving enable signal E to fall. |
