PURPOSE:To improve mechanical strengths, abrasion resistance, electrical durability, and lubricity and obtain a good image constantly by molding a compsn. contg. a specific copolymer resin and a thermally reversible arom. vinyl resin. CONSTITUTION:A bisphenol of formula I wherein R1 to R4 are each H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, or alkenyl, and a bisphenol of formula II wherein R5 is 2-6C alkylene or alkylidene; and R6 and R7 are each 1-3C alkyl or (substd.) phenyl are subjected to interfacial polymn. in the presence of phosgene, a carbonic ester, a chloroformate, etc., to give a copolycarbonate resin having structural units of formula III wherein A is a 1-10C linear, branched, or cyclic alkylidene group, an aryl-substd. alkylidene group, an arylenedialkylidene group, -O-, -S-, etc. and 0.1-50wt.% structural units of formula IV (wherein n is 1-200). A compsn. contg. the resin and 1-50wt.% thermally reversible arom. vinyl resin is molded to give the title member. |
