The feed system used to transfer objects (G1-G2) from one location to another is constructed from a number of mechanically separate sections (F1-F5). The objects can be in the form of pallets filled with components and each section can accommodate two such units. Each of the conveyor sections has a dedicated drive motor (M1-M5) and separate sensors (S1-S5) that signal the presence of pallets to controller units (E1-E5).
