<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently and uniformly reduce the volume of a waste synthetic resin by quantitatively supplying the waste synthetic resin to a heating volume reducing means by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A volume reducing apparatus is constituted by connecting a heating volume reducing means 2 to the discharge part of a supply means 1. The supply means 1 is formed by providing a screw shaft 4 in a supply cylinder 3 and a waste synthetic resin is supplied to the heating volume reducing means 2 by rotating the screw shaft 4. The supply cylinder 3 is vertically or obliquely arranged and the waste synthetic resin is fed downward under pressure by the screw shaft 4. A supply hopper 9 is connected to the side surface or upper part of the supply cylinder 3. The waste synthetic resin supplied to the supply hopper 9 is scraped off from the side part of the supply cylinder 3 by the screw shaft 4 to be quantitatively supplied to the heating volume reducing means 2.</p> |
