PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which can display an easily visible large screen by eliminating the non-display parts at the joints of the plural liquid crystal display devices when these devices are combined. CONSTITUTION:This device has a liquid crystal panel 5 which is constituted by disposing two sheets of glass substrates respectively formed with electrodes for liquid crystal control or semiconductor elements for driving so as to face each other apart a slight spacing and sealing the liquid crystal therein and has the function to allow the passage of light or to shut off the light by the driving voltage converted from the display data from the outside via a control circuit and a driving circuit, a back light 7 which is disposed behind the liquid crystal panel 5 and acts as a light source for display, an optical system 11 which is disposed in front of the liquid crystal panel 5 and has the function to expand the display part of the liquid crystal panel 5 to the outside dimension of the unit, and a projecting film 14 which is projected with the light transmitted through the optical system 11 from behind and has the function to project images on the front surface. |
