PURPOSE:To reduce the burdens of terminal equipment and users by simplifying the file transmitting-receiving procedure of a network system which performs file transmission-reception with an arbitrary communication party through a network. CONSTITUTION:A storing means which temporarily stores a file to be subject to transmission-reception and a timer means 6 which measures arbitrary unit time set by a user are provided in a file server 1, communication controller 5, etc., connected to a network and, when the file is transmitted, the file stored in the storing means 2 is transmitted to the opposite side on the basis of the time measured by the timer means 6 and, when a file is received, the received file is stored in the storing means 2.
