PURPOSE:To prevent a speed-change shock and an engine blowup by contriving an oil-pressure control device in such a way that a solenoid valve that has been interposed between a throttle valve and a timing valve is closed when a power-off/up shift is carried out and also when the absolute value of the rate of change in the accelerator opening and the amount of change therein exceed a prescribed value respectively. CONSTITUTION:A throttle opening signal (u) sent from an engine-throttle opening sensor, an accelerator opening signal (theta) sent from an accelerator-pedal opening sensor, and a vehicle-speed signal (w) sent from a vehicle-speed sensor that has been fitted to the output shaft of an automatic transmission are input into an electronic control unit 15. When it is judged that the transmission is in an up-shift condition, the change rate of the accelerator opening (theta) is calculated. When the absolute value of this change rate exceeds a prescribed value and also when the rate of change in the accelerator opening exceeds a prescribed value, a solenoid valve 14 for a timing valve 1 is closed. And after the completion of the up-shift, the solenoid valve 14 is opened. |
