<p>The laminate (1) consists of a base material, for example a resin-bound glass fibre fabric (2), onto which a layer (3) of thermosetting resin has been applied. To protect the tacky resin surface, it is covered with a sheet (4) made of a heat-shrinkable material. The sheet (4) has been provided with slits (5) which, following a heat pretreatment, widen into apertures, so that a significant proportion of the tacky resin surface is laid bare. Hence it is no longer necessary to peel off the protective sheet (4) before the laminate is applied. <IMAGE> </p> |
