1. High voltage source, particularly for a programmable calibrator, comprising a mains transformer with switched secondary windings, relays, a voltage doubler and two-terminal spark suppressing circuits, characterized in that the starting point of the first winding (Z1) is connected to the common point of the first diode (D1) anode and the third diode (D3) cathode, which constitutes the first input terminal of the voltage doubler, and to both ends of the first winding (Z1) the first two-terminal spark suppressing circuit (R1, C1) and the fixed contacts (1 and 2)of the first relay (K1) are connected, and the moving contact (3) mating with the said contacts is connected to the starting point of the second winding (Z2), to whose ends the second two-terminal spark suppressing circuit (R2, C2) and the fixed contacts (1 and 2) of the second relay (K2) are connected, and the moving contact (3) mating with the said contacts is connected to the starting point of the third winding (Z3), to whose ends the third two-terminal spark suppressing circuit (R3, C3) and the fixed contacts (1 and 2) of the third relay (K3) are connected, and the moving contact (3) mating with the said contacts is connected to the second input terminal of the voltage doubler system, whereas to the said terminal the following two-terminal spark suppressing circuits (R4, C4, R5, C5) are connected with their first ends, whereas the second end of the fourth two-terminal circuit (R4, C4) is connected via the sixth resistor (R6) with the first output terminal of the voltage doubler system, and the second end of the fifth two-terminal circuit (R5, C5) is connected via the seventh resistor (R7) to the second output terminal of the voltage doubler system, whereas to both ends of the fourth two-terminal circuit (R4, C4) [à]<IMAGE>
