<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet paper transfer device capable of sucking transfer sheets of different shapes to a transfer belt securely. CONSTITUTION:For a sheet transfer device which transfers a sheet by sucking it to a horizontal sheet transfer part 5a of an endless transfer belt stretched between a drive roller 3 and a follower roller 4, a transfer part changing means 8 disposed between the sheet transfer part 5a and a counter part 5b in the transfer belt 5 is provided to change the position to get in contact with the counter part 5b for applying a predetermined tension to the transfer belt 5, and the position of the sheet transfer part 5a to get apart from the counter part 5b to get in contact with the sheet transfer part 5a for keeping the predetermined tension.</p> |
