PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive downsized motor producing high output and excellent in durability by employing an alumite vertical magnetic film to be magnetized only in the thicknesswise direction in a section for detecting the rotational speed or the rotational angle of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A detecting section 14 is composed of an alumite vertical magnetic film excellent in abrasion resistance and heat resistance stability and magnetic information for detecting rotational speed or rotational angle is recorded therein. Since the alumite vertical magnetic film exhibits vertical magnetic anisotropy, the detecting section 14 can be magnetized in the thicknesswise direction resulting in an extremely fine magnetizing pitch. Consequently, a detection head 15 can produce a high output, and the detecting section 14 can be fabricated with low cost through aluminum deposition. Furthermore, since the detecting section 14 is provided as a thin film, effective volume thereof is reduced which contributes to downsizing of motor. |
