A fastener for necklaces, bracelets and the like has an outer sleeve (1) in which a receiving element (2) is movably mounted in the axial direction against the force of at least one spring (5) arranged in the outer sleeve. The receiving element (2) receives at least one linking element (4) linked to one end of the necklace. Receiving element and linking element are fixed in the closure position on at least one safety element, after being axially moved together by the spring. Since the receiving element and the linking element are fixed on a safety sleeve (3) concentrically arranged to the outer sleeve and that acts as a safety element by the receiving element being radially moved by the safety sleeve, it is possible to open the fastener blindly, at the same time as a high degree of security in spite of a simple and easy operation is ensured. |
