A method for manufacturing ice containing carbon dioxide comprising a process wherein ice grains or water as material used for forming ice containing carbon dioxide is charged into a pressure vessel, a process wherein the material is enveloped in an atmosphere of carbon dioxide and a process wherein the temperature and pressure of the material is adjusted to within the range in which clathrate hydrates of carbon dioxide are included in ice; a method for manufacturing ice containing carbon dioxide comprising a process wherein carbonic acid water is charged into a pressure vessel, and wherein the temperature and pressure inside the pressure vessel are adjusted to within the above range; and a method comprising a process wherein carbonic acid water containing carbon dioxide is injected into an anti-freeze liquid.
