PURPOSE:To allow the increasing of the degree of freedom of the pattern shapes of colored layers without requiring a fine working technique of a high level and to allow all patterning with one time of exposing as well as to allow the easy dealing with the trend toward larger sizes. CONSTITUTION:The parts corresponding to the colored parts of color filters are subjected to all of the patterning with one time of exposing via a positive mask having the light transmittance varying with each of colors and the corresponding pattern parts in order of the light transmittance are successively developed and colored. Then, the color filters are produced easily in large quantities and, therefore, this method is extremely industrially useful. |
