Installation for carrying out undersea drilling and pumping, characterised in that it comprises a hollow submerged tower (1) consisting of annular elements (2) made of concrete or the like, which interlock one on top of the other in a leaktight manner, the lower element (3) being anchored in the seabed (4) and acting as a base, while the upper element (5) projects by a certain distance above sea level (6) and includes an access orifice (7) to the inside (8) of the tower. At least one hollow compartment (9), intended to be filled with water, is provided in the wall of the annular element (2).
