PURPOSE:To substantially completely remove various pollutants, such as inorg. solids, org. matter oil-components and detergent components, in waste water. CONSTITUTION:Raw water contg. the pollutants, an inorg. flocculating agent and compressed air are simultaneously admitted into a foaming tank 6 and are stirred and mixed at a high speed therein to form an emulsive primary reaction liquid contg. fine bubbles. The primary reaction liquid is fed to a maturation tank 14 where a high-polymer flocculating agent is injected to the liquid to flocculate the pollutants in the raw water. The flocculated pollutants are separated in a separating tank 20. The treated water from the separating tank 20 is stirred in a stirring tank 36 where the residual pollutants sticking to the bubbles are separated away from the treated matter by utilizing a medium. |
