PURPOSE:To eliminate operation error at the time of focusing and servo setting to prevent breakdown of optical head and recording medium by previously setting information recording region as the crystallized condition and servo setting region as the non-crystallized condition and making higher the reflectivity of the former than that of the latter. CONSTITUTION:A phase varying film 33 is formed at a high speed on a transparent interfering film 32 to be formed in information recording region 2 and servo setting region 3 of a recording film on a glass substrate 31. Moreover, when the substrate temperature 18 set to 40 deg.C or lower at the time of forming the film 33, transparent interfering film 34 and reflection film 35, the film 33 is non-crystallized. Thereafter, when only the region 2 is annealed, reflectivity of the region 2 becomes as low as about 19%, while reflectivity of the region 3 becomes as high as about 48%. Thereby, operation error at the time of focusing and servo setting can be eliminated and breakdown of a condenser lens and optical recording medium due to contactness thereof can be prevented. |
