PURPOSE: To provide a novel improved heat exchanger wherein a plurality of heat exchange units stacked on a header plate and a central column integrally extruded, and it is easily assembled in a leak-preventing manner, and further the total cost is reduced. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a central opening 26 and a radial opening 30 defined by an integrally formed column 28 in a header plate 24. A pair of plates 34 and 36 define a plurality of first chambers 42 with respect to a flow of lubricating oil. A first alignment opening 422 and a second alignment opening 48 are formed on opposite sides of a column reception opening 44 for connecting the first chamber 42 to the first flow passage. Spacer means are disposed in a row relation separated at an interval around the column 28 on the header plate 24, and a plurality of second chambers 54 are defined between the heat exchange units 32 for flowing the foregoing cooling material.
