<p>PURPOSE: To cook in a ventilative or non-ventilative state by providing a dish with a rim having a cam ridge cooperating with a lip of a lid. CONSTITUTION: In an appliance for cooking, supplying, and storing foods, etc., a dish 50 has a bottom wall 52 fringed with a sidewall 54 extended upward, the sidewall 54 has a rim 16 arranged in the circumferential direction and extended outward, and the rim 16 includes a cam ridge 56. A lip 26 is extended downward under the rim 16. The lid 10 is so set as to rotate on the cam ridge 56 and move vertically between at least one position where the lip 26 is engaged with the cam ridge 56 so as to prevent the access inside the dish 50 and at least, one position where the lip 26 is partially engaged with the cam ridge 56 so as to allow the access into the dish 50.</p> |
